Who processes it

We rely on a small set of trusted processors to run Pol:

• Clerk — account creation and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.
• Anthropic — the language model that plans and writes your research briefings.
• Modal — the hosted compute environment where your research agents run.
• Resend — email delivery for your briefings.
• Vercel — hosting for the Pol web application.
• Neon — the database that stores your account and briefing data.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data. We don’t train AI models on your research topics or briefings. We don’t share your account information with third parties except the processors listed above, and only to the extent needed to run the Service.

Retention

We keep your research topics and briefings for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is deleted along with it, subject to any backups that age out on their normal schedule.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, export, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at [contact email]. We’ll respond promptly and verify your identity before making changes.

Cookies

Pol uses a single session cookie set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in. We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.
