The Service

Pol lets you describe your work in one sentence. We build a hosted AI agent that researches that topic on a schedule and delivers a briefing to you and your team by email and in the app. Briefings are generated by AI models and are only as good as the sources and prompts behind them — see the AI-content disclaimer below.

Accounts

You need an account to use Pol. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Pol to research or distribute unlawful content, to harass or surveil individuals, to scrape sources in violation of their terms, or to attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don’t offer refunds for partial months. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

AI-generated content

Briefings are AI-generated research summaries produced by automated agents reading public sources. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Pol does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any briefing for a particular purpose. Verify anything important before you rely on it to make a decision.

Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You own the research topics you create and the briefings generated for you, and may use them however you like. You grant us a license to process your topics and content solely to operate and improve the Service.

Termination

You may stop using Pol and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the product, with notice where reasonably possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pol and [Company legal name] are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on AI-generated briefings. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
